Registrar Group Supervision
At the Centre for Clinical Psychology we provide small group supervision and professional development to assist early career psychologists to meet the Psychology Board of Australia training requirements.
The Psychology Board of Australia requires psychology registrars to participate in supervision sessions and active professional development to meet the requirements for registration as a Psychologist. The Centre for Clinical Psychology runs face to face and online group supervision and active professional development sessions.
These are now available to book for the following prices
2 hours @ $100
2.5 hours @ $125
3 hours @ $150
These sessions provide an excellent opportunity to work with our experienced clinical psychologists and accredited supervisors as well as a great opportunity for networking and meeting other professionals on the same wavelength. Our group supervision sessions and active professional development are personal and are limited to a maximum of six people.
They are also suitable for registered psychologists who wish to refresh their knowledge in certain areas. Please see below for a full listing of our upcoming sessions.
The Psychology Board of Australia guidelines outline that for psychologists undergoing a registrar program up to 33 per cent of the supervision may be completed as small group supervision.
Active CPD (professional development) can include
- attending seminars where there is a written test
- attending a workshop that requires role play of skills
These are the two areas of professional development that the Centre for Clinical Psychology focuses on.
All programs are online during 2020 due to COVID-19.
